45+ years flying, CFI in helicopter and airplanes
45+ years as pilot and flight instructor in helicopters and airplanes. Accident and Incident free, highly experienced in manual & training program development. 12,000+ hours of flight instruction. Prior experience includes US Army Instrument Flight Examiner Course Instructor (90-93), UN contract pilot for missions on 3 continents (93-95), Corporate Director of Operations for Evergreen Helicopters (95-96), and FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (96-2000), 21+ years as PIC/Training Captain and Supervisor of Aviation Standardization at Saudi Aramco. Significant experience as instructor (ground and flight) and standardization pilot in BH212, BH412EP, BH206L3, A109E, and AW139. My job has me overseas for most of the year. I am not active in flight training in the USA as a result.
