Flight Test Engineer, Independent CFI, Aerospace Consultant
I’m a flight test engineer at a local aircraft OEM who enjoys instructing on the side. I began flying in college after an internship with EAA between my freshman and sophomore year; I used the summer funds to pay for my private certificate and have not looked back. I have been fortunate to go on to earn commercial and flight instructor certificates since then. My day job is as a Flight Test Engineer, my dream job if I ever had one. My goal is to bring the same level of professionalism to general aviation that I see day-in and day-out. I bring 8+ years of experience leading high-stakes flight test operations across rotorcraft and eVTOL platforms, with a focus on certification, system validation, and cross-functional coordination. I thrive at the intersection of engineering and flight operations — combining deep technical knowledge with active PIC-level flying experience. Currently I lead technology demonstrator flight test activities supporting the development of an advanced air mobility vehicle. Previously, I contributed to Bell’s 525 and 412EPX programs, executing both domestic and international test campaigns, demo flights, and envelope expansion work.
