I am somewhat unique in that flight instructing for me is a second profession. I am a retired physician who learned to fly before going to medical school. My active practice did not allow simultaneous flight instruction but now I do teach flying full time and I am a former aviation medical examiner so I can give sound advice on all classes of medicals. I am here for the duration as a teacher and not looking to build hours for an airline job I am a member of SAFE and NAFI as well as AOPA and COPA. Brian is based and lives in Hilton Head, SC. When he is not coaching and flying with students, he enjoys participating in COPA (Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association) events, where he's a safety instructor (Platinum CSIP), keynote speaker and trusted advisor on a regular basis.
