Hello and welcome! My name is Blake. I am an Alaskan born and raised pilot who has called Arizona home for the past four years. Aviation has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I truly enjoy sharing the excitement, confidence, and freedom that comes with learning to fly. I provide flight training that is tailored to each student’s goals, experience level, and schedule. Whether you are just getting started or continuing your training, my focus is on clear instruction, steady progress, and creating a comfortable learning environment where questions are always encouraged. Training offered includes: Private Pilot Instrument Rating Commercial Pilot Biennial Flight Reviews Instrument Proficiency Checks I also hold a Multi Engine Instructor rating and have my endorsements for tailwheel, complex, and high performance aircraft. I understand that flight training can feel challenging and sometimes overwhelming. I work hard to be patient, flexible, and approachable so you always know what you are working toward and feel confident in your progress. My goal is not only to help you earn a certificate, but to help you become a safe, capable pilot who truly enjoys flying. If you are serious about earning your certificate or rating and want an instructor who keeps you on a clear path forward with flexible scheduling, honest feedback, and a teaching style that adapts to you, let’s talk! All training follows a structured syllabus so you always know where you stand, what is coming next, and that every standard is being met. Ground sessions are coordinated around your schedule and location. I have logged time flying the backcountry of Alaska, one of the most demanding and unforgiving flying environments in the world. That experience shapes how I teach situational awareness, decision making, and real world airmanship that strengthens every aspect of your training. I also hold Complex, High Performance, and Tailwheel endorsements with experience across a range of aircraft. Students also have access to highly experienced pilots who conduct stage and mock checkrides throughout training, so by the time you sit in front of a DPE you are confident, prepared, and ready. Aircraft rates: 1 hour: $210/hr wet 10 hour block: $200/hr wet 20 hour block: $190/hr wet What I offer: Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial, CFII, BFRs, IPCs, Ground Tutoring, Mock Stages, and Safety Pilot.
